Refund Policy

At ProLingo Education Private Limited (“ProLingo”, “we”, “our”, “us”), transparency and fairness are central to how we operate. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may or may not be granted. Learners are strongly advised to read and understand this policy carefully before enrolling in any course.

By enrolling in any ProLingo course, attending demo sessions, or making payment through our website, application, or official communication channels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy in full.


1. General Refund Principles

  • All courses offered by ProLingo are structured as live, instructor-led programs with limited batch sizes and reserved trainer time.
  • Refunds are therefore restricted and conditional, and not automatic.
  • Attendance records maintained by ProLingo shall be considered final for refund eligibility.
  • Verbal assurances, assumptions, or third-party statements shall not override this written policy.

2. Cancellation Requests

2.1 Cancellation Window

  • Cancellation requests may be submitted within 24 hours of enrollment/payment.
  • Requests must be made using the registered email ID and phone number.

3. Refund Eligibility for Language Courses

3.1 Trial Period Definition

  • All ProLingo language courses include a trial period limited strictly to the first three (3) scheduled classes of the course.
  • These classes are considered sufficient for the learner to evaluate teaching style, methodology, and course suitability.

3.2 Full Refund Eligibility

A full refund of the course fee shall be applicable only if all the following conditions are met:

  • The learner has attended all three (3) of the first scheduled classes in full
  • The refund request is raised within or immediately upon completion of the third class
  • The request is submitted in writing through official ProLingo channels

Failure to meet any one of the above conditions shall result in forfeiture of refund rights.


4. Non-Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds shall not be applicable under any of the following circumstances:

  • If more than three (3) classes have been conducted, regardless of attendance or satisfaction
  • If the learner misses all of the first three classes
  • If the learner misses even one (1) of the first three classes, irrespective of the reason, including but not limited to:
    • Personal reasons
    • Medical issues
    • Work or shift conflicts
    • Internet or technical issues
    • Travel or emergencies
  • If dissatisfaction arises after the trial period
  • If sessions have already been conducted or learning resources accessed
  • If the learner fails to follow class rules or code of conduct

5. Valid Refund Requests

  • Refund requests shall be considered only if submitted in writing via:
  • Requests made after the eligibility period, or via WhatsApp, social media, or third-party agents, shall be treated as invalid.
  • ProLingo reserves the right to verify attendance and participation before approving any refund.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Approved refunds, where applicable, shall be credited within 10 working days from the date of approval.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original mode of payment or registered bank account only.
  • ProLingo shall not be responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions.

7. Enrollment Cancellations After Course Commencement

  • Once enrollment is confirmed and classes have commenced, refund eligibility shall be governed strictly by this policy.
  • No refunds shall be provided for:
    • Partial attendance
    • Missed sessions
    • Schedule changes requested by the learner
    • Pauses or discontinuation initiated by the learner

8. EMI and Installment Payments

  • Refund eligibility for payments made through No-Cost EMI, credit card EMI, or installment plans shall be subject to the policies of the respective financial institution.
  • Any processing fees, foreclosure charges, or deductions imposed by the financial institution shall be borne entirely by the learner.
  • ProLingo shall not be liable for such third-party deductions.

9. Disputes and Grievance Handling

  • Any disputes or grievances related to refunds or cancellations may be addressed to:

  • All decisions taken by ProLingo based on attendance records, system logs, and internal verification shall be final and binding.
  • ProLingo does not entertain refund disputes once eligibility conditions are breached.

10. Policy Modifications

  • ProLingo reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
  • The version published on the official ProLingo website shall be considered the most current and enforceable version.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ghaziabad, India.
